How it works.
What is an executor?
When you create a Legacy Card, you designate a trusted person as your executor — the one who controls when your message is released. You also name a backup executor in case your first choice is unavailable. Both go through a verification process to ensure your wishes are honored.
What if my executor passes away or becomes unreachable?
That's exactly why we require a backup executor. If both are unreachable, our verification process includes a continuation protocol to ensure your message is still delivered according to your instructions.
When does Legacy launch?
Legacy launches after Moment and Open When are fully operational. We're building it last because it requires a level of trust we want to earn first. Join the waitlist at lastwordcards.com/shop/legacy and you'll be the first to know.
